Overview
The Jewelry shop sits at the top of Tradorn's product pyramid. Luxury goods have the slowest demand of any category — NPCs buy jewelry at one-fifteenth the rate of food. But when a sale happens, it is worth it. Jewelry offers the highest per-sale margins in the game, making it the ultimate endgame income source for patient, well-capitalized traders.
Products
| Product | Price Tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ring | Mid | Most accessible luxury item, relatively faster turnover |
| Necklace | Mid-High | Classic luxury product with reliable demand |
| Bracelet | Mid | Popular gift item, steady sales |
| Watch | High | High-value timepiece, excellent margins |
| Earring | Mid-High | Strong appeal in fashion-forward regions |
Supplier Tiers
- Cheap tier — Not recommended for luxury goods. The appeal reduction is severe, and luxury customers are the most quality-sensitive NPCs in the game.
- Standard tier — Acceptable for Rings and Bracelets as a way to enter the market without massive capital investment.
- Premium tier — The only real choice for serious luxury traders. Wealthy NPCs in high-level regions strongly prefer premium jewelry. The appeal difference between Standard and Premium is larger for luxury items than any other category.
Pricing Tips
Luxury pricing operates by different rules than other categories. Fewer competitors and wealthier customers mean you can charge more:
- Ring and Bracelet: Start with 35-50% margins. These are your "entry-level" luxury products.
- Necklace and Earring: Push for 40-55% margins. Mid-tier luxury products in low-competition regions support aggressive pricing.
- Watch: The crown jewel. Margins of 50-70% are achievable in exclusive regions like Mountain Foothills and Riverside. A single Premium Watch sale can be worth more than a full day of Grocery revenue.
Best Regions
- Riverside (Lv70, 3%) — The ultimate luxury market. Wealthiest NPCs, zero competition, maximum margins.
- Mountain Foothills (Lv55, 5%) — Exclusive community with strong luxury appetite.
- Historic Quarter (Lv30, 9%) — Your first viable luxury region. Excellent place to start a Jewelry career.
- Harbor Front (Lv40, 10%) — Wealthy merchants and traders buy luxury goods at decent rates.
Strategy
Jewelry is a long game. Do not open a Jewelry shop in a starter region and expect results — luxury demand there is too low to be meaningful. Wait until you reach Historic Quarter (Level 30) at minimum, and ideally Mountain Foothills or Riverside for peak performance.
Stock exclusively Premium-tier products. The capital investment is high, but the returns in the right region are unmatched. A single well-placed Jewelry shop in Riverside can eventually outperform multiple shops in lower regions. This is the endgame — and it is worth the wait.
