Overview
North Harbor is where most players begin their Tradorn journey. As one of two starter regions, it offers immediate access and a generous 14% share of the total NPC population — the second highest in the game after Central Plaza.
The harbor setting drives a strong demand for food products. Dockworkers, sailors, and merchants passing through create a bustling grocery market. This makes North Harbor the single best region for a new Grocery shop.
What Makes It Unique
North Harbor has the highest food demand concentration of any region in the game. While all regions consume food, the population density and consumption patterns here favor Grocery shops heavily. If you are running a food business, this is where you want to be.
The downside is competition. Because every new player starts here, you will face more rival shops than in any other starter region. Pricing discipline is essential — undercutting wars can tank margins for everyone.
Best Shop Types
- Grocery — The obvious choice. High food demand meets high population. Stock Standard or Premium tier products and price competitively.
- Fashion — A solid secondary choice. Clothing demand is moderate but there are usually fewer Fashion shops competing.
Tips
- Stock heavily. With 14% of the population shopping here, you will burn through inventory faster than you expect.
- Watch competitor pricing closely. North Harbor is the most competitive starter region.
- Do not abandon North Harbor when you unlock new regions — the population share makes it valuable at every stage of the game.
- Consider opening a second shop type here once you can afford it, to diversify your income stream.
